Computational linguistics poster session for the 39th Meeting of the German Linguistic Society
Preliminary call for abstracts
The SIG CL of the DGfS would like to invite abstract submissions for the computational linguistics poster session of the 39th meeting of the German Society for Linguistics (DGfS) conference in Saarbrücken. Represented at this conference are numerous subfields of linguistics, so this is a venue when you can share your work with colleagues both in and out of the computational linguistics field. We invite international submissions from all areas of computational linguistics and natural language processing, ranging from machine translation and information retrieval to speech and dialogue systems and cognitive modeling. Both posters and demos are welcome. Submissions can be in German or English.
See here for an overview of the poster sessions organized in previous years.
One A4 page in PDF format, with 1-inch margins on all sides. 11pt font for main text. Abstracts submitted for review should be anonymous.
You should submit your abstract through EasyChair, which is now open for submissions.
There will be a stipend of 250 Euros available for a student presenting at the poster session. In order to apply for the stipend, the applicant has to be a student (i.e., qualify for DGfS student rates) and has to have been a DGfS member for at least one year.
A link with instructions for how to apply for the stipend will be made available on the Postersession website. (For submitting and presenting a poster, it is not necessary to be a member of the DGfS.)
