Call for Papers

Kurzbeschreibung

The workshop will address the role of polysemy of clause-embedding predicates (CEPs; e.g., tell, ask) for the distributional properties of these predicates (e.g., complementation patterns, NEG-raising, control vs. raising, mood selection, restructuring/clause union) and the role of coercion in adding clausal arguments to non-clause-embedding verbs or in enhancing the syntactic flexibility of CEPs.
